This repeated, persistent conduct caused constant threat and fear in the victim's daily life, and her psychological harm was substantial. The court found that the defendant's conduct violated the Stalking Punishment Act and constituted insult under the Criminal Act, and, giving serious weight to his unrepentant attitude, persistent approaches, and use of strongly insulting language, sentenced him to eight months in prison and ordered him to complete 40 hours of a stalking treatment program.
