Our client, who runs a moving company, was accused of stealing a broken piece of furniture while transporting a customer's household goods.

We persistently argued that our client had merely taken furniture the customer was discarding and had no intent to steal, and backed this up by submitting photographs of the furniture in question and messenger exchanges with the client as evidence, thereby negating any criminal intent.
