The plaintiff (our client) had lent money to the defendant with a fixed repayment date, but the defendant failed to repay even after the promised date passed, causing our client severe emotional and financial harm. Our client therefore retained DAEON as litigation counsel and filed suit against the defendant claiming the unpaid loan of KRW 6,000,000 plus default interest.

DAEON's attorneys clearly organized and submitted to the court objective evidence proving the formation of the loan agreement, the actual disbursement of the money, and the passing of the due date. Unshaken by the other party's excuses or delaying tactics, we established the clear fact of the loan as a matter of law, and the court ordered the defendant to pay the full KRW 6 million loan plus default interest at 12% per annum, with the defendant bearing all litigation costs—a perfect and complete win. In addition, we filed a Fraud complaint in connection with the matter, which resulted in a Fine being imposed.
